We told you in this post why in our opinion an undated planner can be extremely useful for your organization but we certainly don't question the convenience of dated diaries ! There are two types of people, those for whom the year begins in January and those for whom the real New Year is September, the month of restarts and returns to work. If you are part of this second category then this article is for you! The 12-month diaries (January - December 2022) will begin to arrive in October, while from mid-June you will be able to purchase the academic diaries, which are ideal for having a broader vision and for starting off on the right foot after the summer! The diaries suitable for those who love to leave in September are available in 12 months (August 2021 - August 2022) or 17 months (from August 2021 to December 2022) and will be available in various designs. Daily diaries For those who need ample space every day to mark appointments (with time slots) and daily to do lists , for those who need to manage various activities and keep track of everything in depth. Daily diaries are quite rare and we are happy to present you a new American brand of the highest level both in terms of paper quality and functionality. Appointed is a brand born in Washington DC and produces carefully designed vintage planners, using the best materials, all manufactured in the United States, and giving unparalleled attention to detail . The covers are all water-resistant cotton texture and the paper is Premium. Weekly diaries Here you are spoiled for choice! Year Task , minimal and elegant, for those who need a weekly view but at the same time ample space for to do lists and notes . In fact, the week is on the left with the right space to mark appointments and deadlines while on the right there is a lot of freedom to keep track of the week's activities. Furthermore, the monthly view allows an overview of upcoming commitments and the very useful page at the beginning of the month for marking the objectives to be completed is an excellent tool for planning all the work. The new Rifle Paper diaries are weekly and the style and quality is now known! Designed with practicality but also the pleasure of having a beautiful object in your hands, there are two versions: a larger one bound with a sturdy metal spiral and a slightly smaller one, still with a spiral but protected by the cover , a feature that makes it perfect to always be carried with you in your bag. All have a sturdy hard cover and an elastic closure. Inside you will find monthly and weekly views, inspirational quotes, sections for celebrations, notes and contacts space, a storage pocket and sticker sheets so you can personalize the pages in perfect Rifle Paper style! The Rico design diaries come in two different variables and three designs: The largest is with a spiral and with a beautiful internal organisation, monthly views, page separators and a different pattern for each month. Then there are two models without a spiral that have the same internal organization. For those who don't require a lot of space but need to have a more long-term overview, Appointed's Weekly diaries are ideal! Two weeks close together (and finally in squares!), so as to make programming easier and then lots of space for notes! Learn moreThe benefits of writing
Writing by hand represents a form of self-education of thought, it leaves room for imagination, learning and planning. In a world where everything goes fast and is immediate, writing allows us to slow down and pay more attention to what we do. Handwriting also plays a crucial role in memorizing information, engaging parts of the brain that are not activated when typing on a keyboard. When you write by hand you concentrate more , the attention is in fact placed on a single spatial and temporal point, given that the graphic gesture takes place in the limited area in which the sign is traced on the paper. Typing on a keyboard causes your eyes to continually move from one point to another, reducing attention and memory skills. The result of a study by Washington University concluded that those who master handwriting demonstrate greater creativity, learn better, have more ideas and are able to consistently produce more words than is possible with a keyboard. I would like to add that handwriting reveals a lot about us and is something unique and always different. Remember, your trait will always be your own. What is the difference between calligraphy and lettering ? Calligraphy is the art of writing , using beautiful handwriting. Lettering is the art of drawing letters , therefore it has a more graphic connotation. The first teaches how to trace writing in an elegant and fluid form. The second focuses on typographical characters, the attention is paid to individual letters and their role within a composition. So here are the 5 reasons why handwriting and learning calligraphy have a positive impact on our mind and body: Writing by hand stimulates greater neuronal activity, helping us memorize information more quickly. Handwriting requires more concentration and helps us maintain it for longer. Calligraphy promotes motor memory and allows us to improve our manual skills. Writing by hand develops creativity, giving us the freedom to design styles and fonts. Studying calligraphy helps you relax, slow down, and dedicate yourself with patience.
