Guida alle agende 2023

Guide to the 2023 agendas

Let's start from the basics: choosing the diary that will become your organizational tool for 2023 is extremely personal, you shouldn't just focus on aesthetics but reflect on what you need for your planning and what your comfort zone is.
The tool you choose must in fact fit you perfectly, like a tailored suit .

So before choosing, stop and ask yourself some questions such as:

  • I need more space for appointments or notes ?
  • I feel good working with them to do list ?
  • It is essential for me to always have an overall vision to have control of the situation?
  • I need carry my diary always with me ?

But still, How do you organize your work?

  1. I divide everything by time slots , appointments, calls and meetings and I assign a time for things to do too.
  2. I work on a project or several at the same time and I have to establish priorities and do lists of things to do.
  3. I just need to not forget, so have a summary table , a monthly calendar to note down appointments and deadlines, all in the same space.

Once you have found your answers, take a look at the diaries we have chosen for 2023:

DAILY DIARNS

The dailies are the diaries for those who need lots of space every day . For those who have to keep track of many pieces, for those who keep track carefully, for those who love to write everything down and find it again.

Let's start with those of my beloved brand The Completist , all made in London, and made just like the undated daily planners which I always talk to you about, but in this case there's the date !

  • one page for each day of the week (except the weekend).
  • space for appointments with hours (7-20)
  • space for the day's to do list, space dedicated to scattered notes,
  • + space priority of the day.

The covers are beautiful (choose between Beacons And Orchard ) and the binding is flatlay so that writing in it will always be very comfortable.
I recommend keeping it closed with one of ours rubber bands if you need to always carry it with you, not having a hard cover is the best way to avoid ruining it!

IF YOU ARE MORE MINIMAL

The right solution is Daily by Appointed .
With spiral, water-resistant cover, amazing paper, in short, a refined and practical diary.

  • Overviews of the year 2023 and 2024
  • Viewing with grill at the beginning of each month to be able to summarize important appointments and dates.
  • Daily display with hourly division for appointments
  • space for to do list
  • And daily notes.

WEEKLY AGENDAS WITH HORIZONTAL ORGANIZATION

The world of those who use weekly diaries has always been divided into two factions: that of the week arranged horizontally and that of the days vertically. There isn't one better than the other because everyone has their own method, they find themselves more easily in one of the two layouts and my advice in this regard would be worth nothing, because you have to think about what is best for you.

If you are a horizontal person then the ones you find here are for you

If you need a lot of space for notes and the to do list of the week then those of Rifle Paper are for you.

These two very comfortable and space-saving spiral diaries have an unmistakable style and are really well made:

  • each week has the left page entirely dedicated to notes and bullet points/to do lists, while the right page hosts the days of the week.
  • for each month there is the monthly calendar view for general overview and
  • there are additional lined pages for notes at the bottom

ALWAYS THEM

Always The Completist quality in a dated weekly version.
If you want to organize yourself in style, if you don't need a lot of space for appointments but more for free ideas, for scribbling and making notes.
You can choose between the Mulberry or Bristol design

  • annual overview
  • monthly grid for each month
  • week divided into two pages: on the left the day boxes and on the right an entire page for notes (a white box and a dotted box so you can also create lists and charts).

TO DO LISTS ARE SERIOUS THINGS

Nothing beats Year Task Planners when it comes to organization with lists. Functional, minimal, of the highest quality.
You can find it in two different sizes and four colours, I know it's difficult to choose but imagine when I have to do it for SayPaper!

The Compact version is available in Linen and Lavender colors measuring 16.5x21.5 cm

  • Weekly organization on the left page and on the right space for notes, priorities and to do lists.
  • There is an overview of the year in which you can mark the most important events;
  • monthly calendar at the beginning of each month with the classic grid
  • a page for goals and important notes for the month .

With the same internal organization but larger there are the Mineral Green and the Oxford Blue which measure 24x19cm and additionally have side tags useful for consultation.

WEEKLY DIARNS WITH VERTICAL ORGANIZATION

if you are into columns and not rows these are the diaries for you.

The class and Danish elegance of Notem in a very high quality diary, available in its classic colors: Blue and Green .
Minimal to the nth degree, hard cover , exposed flatlay binding, very resistant that opens perfectly on every page so you can comfortably always keep it open on your desk.
This diary is perfect for those who need lots of pages for notes , a diary that keeps everything together: organization and thoughts.

  • Monthly view with small space for the month's to-dos
  • Week organized on two pages , lined, vertically. Plenty of space for every day, adaptable to all needs
  • More than 50 lined pages at the bottom where dates can be written.

TO THE WHOLE LIST

Those of A-Journal are much more than a simple agenda.
They are a real diary and are ideal for those who want to keep track not only of their work commitments but also of aspects that concern their personal sphere.
In fact, these agendas help reflection through lists and are precisely based on these.

  • The week is arranged on two pages , with plenty of space and always the priorities and notes box.
  • At the beginning of each month there is a general planning divided into lists of things to do and remember.
  • At the bottom there are many pages for free to do lists and other themed lists that you can compile by reflecting on many aspects, such as what we would like to improve about ourselves and what we would like to learn to let go of, but also lists for travel, recipes, books, quotes, lists dedicated to your finances, health, noteworthy restaurants, personal goals and work goals.

THE MOST ORIGINAL

That is, the Horizontal , one of a kind in a beautiful oxford blue, elegant and very practical (I'm using the 2022 one and I'm very happy with it!)

This special horizontal format with top spiral has all the advantages of the spiral without its disadvantages , in fact it is also perfect for left-handed people .

  • Weekly organization by timetable
  • For each week, a page is dedicated to notes, the list of 5 priorities and the to do list for the week.
  • Monthly calendar grid with notes space
  • Pages for monthly and quarterly goals
  • Additional note pages

THE OVERALL VISION: THE MONTHLY AGENDAS

Monthly diaries are a real calendar and are ideal in two different situations:

  1. if, unlike me, you have the gift of synthesis and you don't need to compile many lists or write notes, but you need to have everything under control , appointments and deadlines in the same space to create all the necessary tetris.
The size of the box of a monthly grid (and therefore of the diary) will depend on your writing (do you write very large? do you need more space) and on how many appointments you have.
The overview is very important for knowing how to organize yourself, it is a calendar that will allow you to understand not only what you have to do but what must take precedence and how much time you have available before...
If you use it for both personal and work-related things, I recommend coding these two areas with different colors so as to simplify your glance even further.
  2. If, however, you prefer a daily diary which, as it always has many pages, is heavier than the others, you can decide to keep it at your desk and stay on track by carrying only a monthly diary . It is light , can be consulted quickly and will allow you to always have an overview of the situation with you!

MINI & MAXI

Pocket diaries don't need much presentation, they are the perfect ones to carry with you, but the fact is that either you are happy with the pocket format or not.

If that's your size, there really are something for all tastes!

  • The Completist one is beautiful, perhaps the most beautiful cover for 2023 they've done.
It has a weekly note space (which is rare for paperbacks), the days arranged on a page and a half horizontally and a monthly grid.
  • Notem 's are for lovers of minimalism and lines. The exposed flatlay binding is so well made that it allows you to write even standing up, folding the diary without ever damaging it.
The week is vertically lined and there are lots of pages for notes at the bottom .
  • Rifle Paper has the floral elegance that has always distinguished this brand, the monthly views and the week arranged two pages horizontally.
  • If instead you are for big things then we have the A4 diary for you: very large , with hard cover , exposed flatlay binding in a beautiful bright green and week with vertical hourly division , you can take a look here .

In conclusion, all diaries are available here and if you have doubts or questions you can write to cecilia@saypaper.it , I will help you choose the right diary for you!
