We are not born organized and planning is one of those skills that we acquire with consistency.
It is not even compulsory to be organised, I have been insisting on this for some time, it works if it makes us feel better, if it makes us live more peacefully and helps us complete our tasks, if having to be organized becomes a source of anxiety then I suggest live disorganized but happy!
Having said that, I would like to leave you some advice for your planning, it may be simpler than you think!

1. CHOOSE ANALOGUE
Whether working from home or an office job, we are inevitably and fortunately in many respects digital. However, an app is not always the right solution, we often have too many, we spend too much time with the phone in our hands and it becomes difficult to keep everything under control. Pen and paper are much easier!
Writing makes us more involved and focused on the task at hand. I'm not saying it, there is a lot of research on this that has confirmed this theory. Keeping track the old fashioned way, in a planner, an agenda, a simple notebook works!
2. COLOR CODING
Use colors for different tasks. Divide your days into categories and distinguish them using different colours: for example orange for meetings, blue for meal planning, pink for personal appointments etc... This will help you consult your daily planning (a quick glance will be enough eye) and will also be very pleasant, allowing you to make your planner more cheerful (with simplicity)!
3. START BIG
Start by indicating all the big events in your planner, this will then help you fit in occasional and last minute commitments. Try starting each month by going through your planner and writing down birthdays, anniversaries, important deadlines, recurring events and regular meetings. This way you will have a good part of your commitments and appointments clear, planning everything else will be easier.
4. CREATE A ROUTINE
Becoming more organized and planning well will help us better manage what happens. Establishing a ritual can help you incorporate this practice into your days. Give yourself a moment of tranquility with your morning coffee where it's just you and your planner for a few minutes, leafing through it and writing down the various activities of the day, to do lists and wish lists. Make it your moment, pleasant and relaxed, perhaps with some background music, getting organized is a pleasure, a gift we give ourselves because it will simplify the management of everything.
5. PHONE, WALLET, KEYS AND PLANNER
Always carry your planner with you! Keep it handy, whether it's in your bag or on your desk, especially at the start of the day. Keeping it open to the current day (or week) will encourage daily use and will be your only tool for managing your days.
