A three-hour online workshop to travel along the French Atlantic coast, discovering a surprising region where wild peninsulas, islands between ocean and mainland, fishing villages, small harbours, salt marshes and endless sands form landscapes of rare beauty.
From Arachon to Île d’Oléron, from Île de Ré to Île de Noirmoutier, with a stop in the heart of Nantes, the city of Jules Verne and imagination: one of France's most fascinating, lesser-known corners.
Through images and maps, we discover magnificent lighthouses watching over the ocean, charming fishing villages and local markets for filling your basket with regional produce. We explore special coastal experiences and sit in cabanes ostréicoles, the characteristic oyster farmers' huts, to taste oysters overlooking the Atlantic.
We climb Europe's highest dunes, follow cycle paths through salt marshes and suspended landscapes, and explore nature reserves and coastline shaped by wind and tides. We discover islands that feel like small worlds, each with its own identity, traditions and enchanted atmosphere.
Ideal destinations for a long weekend in any season, or one magnificent road trip.
