Barcelona is home to some of the most beautiful art nouveau buildings in Europe. Among the most famous are the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló and Parc Güell, all designed by the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The atmosphere of Barcelona is strongly dictated by the immense color scheme of the buildings, which boast an overwhelming wealth of detail, pattern and colour. Take a walk through the narrow alleys of the Gothic Quarter and you will see how the sun's rays and shadows share the limited space between the buildings.
In this poster you will find many of Barcelona's most iconic buildings, old and new. It's hard to say whether Catholicism or football is the city's most dominant religion, but both Camp Nou and the Gothic Cathedral are depicted side by side with more than 50 other unique Barcelona buildings.
