Travel Journal Workshop: How to Plan a Literary and Non-Literary Trip to Provence
Registration will be available to all registered participants.

There are several ways to create a travel journal: some love filling the pages with notes, maps, and drawings during the trip, others collect receipts, business cards, and brochures to paste as mementos once the vacation is over, and others, like me, use it primarily as a personalized guide containing everything needed to organize the trip.

But how do you plan the “perfect vacation”?

In this workshop, Daniela Celli will explain step-by-step how to create a practical and creative travel journal to create a customized itinerary for a trip to Provence that includes stops, accommodations, restaurants, bookshops, attractions, and of course books.

Plan:
● What is a travel journal and why it can be a useful tool before, during and after a trip.
● How to build an effective travel journal that contains all the essential elements depending on the use we intend to make of it.
● Planning a trip: where do I start? How can I create the “perfect” trip? How can a travel journal be a helpful resource?
● We simulate the creation of a real holiday in Provence: from choosing the destinations to booking the trip.
● Books in your suitcase: which ones to choose? We'll talk about literary itineraries and read some excerpts from books set in this magical land.
● Let's get down to business! For those who want to stay, we'll have an extra 20 minutes to create a journal page together.

The ONLINE workshop is organized by SayPaper and taught by Daniela Celli.
Daniela Celli was born in Florence in 1977. After attending the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music, she moved to New York, where she began studying Criminology. In 1997, she returned to Italy, graduated in Law, and earned a diploma from the Academy of Drama. Always passionate about travel, in 2008 she started a blog where she chronicled her family's adventures around the world. She writes about travel on TV, radio, and social media. In 2019, she published her first book, "The Wonders of the World," which was followed by the Little Explorers series published by White Star for National Geographic Kids.
In 2019 he founded the travel book club which combines his two greatest passions.
She lives with her husband and two children between Tuscany and the rest of the world, always on the move in and out of books.
