Midori MD Paper notebooks open fully 180º (you can write and draw from one page to the next!), remaining flat thanks to their sewn binding, which also makes the notebook extremely durable.
The paper is suitable for writing with all types of pencils and pens, perfect for fountain pens.

Their simplicity is also due to the fact that they don't have a cover. Covers make it harder to open a notebook, and to prevent these things from interfering with your writing comfort, Midori notebooks are free of them, ensuring a perfect writing experience. This gives Midori notebooks an iconic design.
The notebook comes with a thin paraffin cover that protects it from the first use. It's your choice whether to keep it or remove it.

Md paper is patented to be extremely light (about 60g) but at the same time it absorbs the ink into its fibers so well that the color never bleeds through to the other side.
