Furukawa Shiko's Matchbox Memo Notes are small boxes with memo notes inspired by classic Japanese matchboxes depicting Japanese shops and restaurants.
Each box is silkscreen printed on Japanese paper with a retro graphic.

Inside you'll find 35 sheets of Mino washi , a soft, slightly textured paper, decorated with playful illustrations and matchstick-like lines. Perfect for leaving a quick message, a thank you note, or adding a touch of color and humor to your journal, planner, or gift wrapping .

Furukawa Paper Works has been making washi paper since 1835 , in the heart of Mino (Gifu Prefecture), an area where this tradition has existed since the 8th century. Mino washi , made from the bark of the paper mulberry tree, is so precious that it has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Today, Furukawa continues this legacy with elegant and playful stationery that combines craftsmanship and contemporary design, while maintaining a connection to nature.
