Correspondence Set - Toulouse Lautrec

This correspondence set is produced in the Netherlands using only FSC-certified European materials.

Each box contains:

• 10 sheets of 4 different designs (printed on one side and blank on the other), for a total of 40 sheets of A5 letter paper (150x210 mm)
• 20 matching envelopes (10 x 2 designs)
• 8 greeting cards (2 x 4 designs)
• 30 assorted stickers and labels.

The sheets, envelopes, and stickers can be used together or independently. The sheets are excellent quality and look beautiful even when framed.

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901), a leading French artist of the late 19th century, developed an unconventional and dynamic style of painting and drawing, influenced by his classical academic training and the Japanese and avant-garde artists of the time. He had a unique and highly personal approach to his work, forgoing anatomical precision and the rules of perspective to capture the essentiality of his subjects through expressive lines or just a few short brushstrokes.
Toulouse-Lautrec spent much of his professional life in the bohemian Montmartre neighborhood, documenting the area's dance halls, nightclubs, cabarets, entertainers, and artists. He thus became a chronicler of the exuberant and decadent Paris of the fin de siècle , a subject matter that perfectly complemented his energetic and unique artistic brand.
