Il Calendario Bilancia di Danese Milano è un calendario perpetuo da parete progettato da Enzo Mari nel 1959. Un oggetto iconico della storia del design italiano, pensato per rendere visibile il passare del tempo attraverso un gesto semplice e manuale.
La struttura è composta da un perno centrale in legno su cui scorrono orizzontalmente quattro aste realizzate in diverse essenze: noce, tiglio, faggio evaporato, mogano e palissandro. Su ciascuna lista sono stampati in serigrafia giorni, numeri e mesi, da combinare ogni giorno per aggiornare la data.
Il nome Bilancia richiama proprio il gioco di equilibrio delle aste: un calendario che ribalta la funzione della bilancia e la trasforma in uno strumento per misurare il tempo.
