The Blackwing 574 pays homage to Native American art and is the result of a collaboration with Kaw, Osage, and Lakota artist Chris Pappan, who designed a graphic evoking geometric motifs typical of indigenous North American cultures.
For centuries, Native Americans have preserved their history through art. As more and more of them were displaced by westward expansion and colonialism, art became a means to preserve their culture and history. Their daily lives were recorded through paintings, songs, stories, and dances.
