The Blackwing Eras 2025 pencil features a design inspired by the pencil that restarted the Blackwing story in 2010.
A matte black barrel, gold ferrule, gold stripe, white eraser, and classic soft graphite (like the iconic Blackwing Matte).
The detail of the engraved pony near the gold stripe is a tribute to the Palomino logo, a symbol of the brand's rebirth.
This edition represents the sixth release in the Blackwing Eras series, created to celebrate the brand's heritage and history with designs inspired by the most iconic Blackwing 602 models.
Launched for Blackwing's 15th revival anniversary, the Eras 2025 looks to the recent past, paying homage to the very pencil that marked the brand's new beginning in 2010.
Since 2020, each Eras edition has told a chapter of the Blackwing story:
- 2020: the first Eras celebrates ten years of the revival, inspired by 1930s models
- 2021: a tribute to the historic Palomino pencils
- 2022: characterized by the arrow-shaped perforated ferrule, taken from mid-20th century models
- 2023: yellow barrel in tribute to classic technical drawing designs
- 2024: inspiration taken from the Microtomic 603
The Blackwing Eras 2025 continues this journey, blending history and rebirth in an elegant and meaningful design.
