Sketchbook Maruman

Maruman spiral-bound sketchbooks are a great classic of Japanese stationery and are part of the historic Design Series , loved by artists, students and illustrators for over half a century.

The paper used is the famous 126.5 g/m² MPS D01 , one of the most popular drawing papers in Japan: it has a delicate natural texture , is soft and absorbent , and offers excellent color rendering. It is perfect not only for pencils, graphite, charcoal, pastels and pens , but also performs very well with light watercolor .

The surface is resistant to erasure , does not wear easily, and reduces smudging , making these sketchbooks ideal for both quick sketches and more detailed work. The color is a natural white , very relaxing on the eye, and the paper is neutral , made from plantation pulp for better preservation over time.

The spiral binding makes them very comfortable to use flat, to browse and to carry with you every day.
